WEICON TOOLS
WEICON not only stands for adhesives, but also for high-quality stripping tools. And these tools make up a separate brand and department under the name WEICON TOOLS. Our team takes care of the international distribution of our tools. But we also develop new tools that make every craftsman’s heart beat faster.
Our aim is to raise awareness for our tools as a premium brand a bit more every day. And that across the globe! That is why we invest a lot of time in developing new markets. At the same time, we attach great importance to providing the best possible service for our existing customers.
With us, you will meet a super diverse team where open and honest communication is paramount. Our head of department, for example, started his WEICON career as an apprentice. Our product managers have an answer to almost every question. And our product developers are real sports enthusiasts who like to go swimming in the canal during their lunch break – even in winter.
Get to know the department head
Hello Daniel!
Would you like to tell us how you became a member of the WEICON family?
After graduating from high school, I looked into various study and training opportunities and came across WEICON. Pretty much the usual process. At the interview, it was an immediate fit and I started my apprenticeship here that same year – in 2012. I then joined our tools department. Well, and now I’ve been in charge of international sales in this area for several years.
In a nutshell: what is it like to work at WEICON?
It may sound trite, but it comes from the heart: working at WEICON is exciting and varied!
As a manager, what is especially important for you in your team?
It is important to me that new colleagues have time to settle in. Afterwards, however, I attach great importance to independent work so that each member of the team can develop freely. Support, respect and trust are also the three things that, in my opinion, characterise a positive working atmosphere and ultimately a successful team.
What do you like most about your team?
That we can not only rely on each other, but also laugh a lot together. And not only within the team, but also across departments.
Is there anything else you would like to say to potential applicants?
You can acquire knowledge about products and the industry. Your social skills are much more important to us right from the start.
